2018 DC Love Locs & Natural Hair Expo

Join us for the 2018 Annual DC Love Locs & Natural Hair Expo! This year’s expo will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 12 to 4 pm at the Kenilworth Recreation Center located on 44th St NE, Washington, DC 20019. (Donation $7)

This year’s theme is Bridging The Gap With Our Community. So bring your family, friends and neighbors and come join us for a day of learning how to take care of your natural hair, body and soul,  take part in educational workshops, shop from local vendors, and enjoy a showcase of local talent and more.

The scheduled workshops are as follows…

1:00 – Learn What Your Nautral Hair is Trying To Tell You. – Instructed by Hair Kouture

1:30 – Eat Right to Grow Healthy Hair – Instructed by Nutritionist Granetta Coleman

2:00 – Girl Protect Your Hair With Protective Styles – Instructed by Tonia TaknCharge Coley

You must be pre-registered to participate in the workshops. If you plan to attend any of the workshops for this year’s event, please use the comment section below to type in your name  and the workshop(s) you would like to attend.

Also, vendor spaces are $50 and are going fast! Information about vending and the vendor application are below.

The booth rent balance is due 1 month before the show date – by March 1, 2018. A payment on the day of DC Love Locs & Natural Hair Expo, April 21, 2018 (if space is available) will be assessed a fee of an additional $25.00.

It’s That Time of Year Again!

Hey Everybody,

It’s that time of year again to reserve your vendor space for Nappy-Oke 2016! This year, spaces are filling fast because we are changing things up a bit and moving to a more intimate venue (you all know ho w we love to keep evolving 🙂

This year’s Nappy-Oke event will take place on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 12 to 6 pm at Everlasting Life located at 9185 Central Ave, Capitol Heights, MD 20743.

Due to this year’s new venue, vendor space is limited. So interested vendors be sure to reserve your space ASAP. Below  is the vendor’s application – copy, print and fill this out and send it to the address on the application along with your payment (which can be submitted on Paypal as well).
