Join us for the 2018 Annual DC Love Locs & Natural Hair Expo! This year’s expo will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 12 to 4 pm at the Kenilworth Recreation Center located on 44th St NE, Washington, DC 20019. (Donation $7)

This year’s theme is Bridging The Gap With Our Community. So bring your family, friends and neighbors and come join us for a day of learning how to take care of your natural hair, body and soul,  take part in educational workshops, shop from local vendors, and enjoy a showcase of local talent and more.

The scheduled workshops are as follows…

1:00 – Learn What Your Nautral Hair is Trying To Tell You. – Instructed by Hair Kouture

1:30 – Eat Right to Grow Healthy Hair – Instructed by Nutritionist Granetta Coleman

2:00 – Girl Protect Your Hair With Protective Styles – Instructed by Tonia TaknCharge Coley

You must be pre-registered to participate in the workshops. If you plan to attend any of the workshops for this year’s event, please use the comment section below to type in your name  and the workshop(s) you would like to attend.

Also, vendor spaces are $50 and are going fast! Information about vending and the vendor application are below.

VENDOR AGREEMENT AND CONTRACT

The 2018 DC Love Locs and Natural Hair Expo will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 12 to 4 pm at the Kenilworth Recreation Center located on 44th St NE, Washington, DC 20019

Due Dates & Fees
Vending Fee – $50.00
The total amount of booth rent to reserve a space must be submitted with this signed Agreement. Spaces will be assigned with full payment only. First pay, first assigned procedure applies.

The booth rent balance is due 1 month before the show date – by March 1, 2018. A payment on the day of DC Love Locs & Natural Hair Expo, April 21, 2018 (if space is available) will be assessed a fee of an additional $25.00.

Payments can be made through PayPal (send as gift payment to asaze2000@hotmail.com) and cashiers check (no personal checks) will be accepted. Please make payment to:

BOOTH RENT: $50.00 by March 1, 2018

All items must be displayed and sold from the table.
NOTE: Exhibitor must supply table covering large enough to extend to the ground.

SET UP TIME: TWO HOURS PRIOR TO the DC Love Locs & Natural Hair Expo. THERE WILL BE NO UNLOADING OF BOXES, RACKS, DOLLIES, AFTER SHOW HAS OPENED. The booth rent will not be refunded.

AN EXHIBITOR will not assign or sublet this lease or contract without prior approval of the SPONSOR. Only one exhibitor will be permitted in each space unless approved by SPONSOR. Failure to inform SPONSOR will result in immediate ejection from the DC Love Locs & Natural Hair Expo.

THE SPONSOR reserves the right to reject an application at any time before the DC Love Locs & Natural Hair Expo for reasons at SPONSOR’S discretion.

THE SPONSOR reserves the right to make such changes and further rules and regulations regarding the DC Love Locs & Natural Hair Expo as it, in its sole discretion, deems necessary and upon notice to the EXHIBITOR, all said action shall become part of this lease and binding on all parties.

THE EXHIBITOR will indemnify SPONSOR, its agents, representatives, affiliates, security and successors from any liability arising from the loss, theft, or damage to EXHIBITOR’s good, literature, promotional materials, or personal property, or the person or property of third parties caused by EXHIBITOR’s actions or goods sold.

THE SPONSOR will do whatever is necessary to have a successful DC Love Locs & Natural Hair Expo!
Asaze Natural Hair will not be held liable to refund any payment in the event of a circumstance or circumstances beyond the control of the SPONSOR (i.e., inclement weather, condition of the facilities, circumstances of EXHIBITOR, etc.
